L‘homme brut
(videoinstallation | bachelor thesis)
The artistic videoinstallation „l’homme brut“ is focussing on
the fascination of physical pain and stages the human body
within the relation of brutalist architecture. The goal isn’t to
deliver any answers, instead the viewer is asked to confront
himself with his own intuitive-associative thoughts. The
exhibits are based on historical ciciles and are representing
three forms of pain: pushing, cutting and piercing.

Me&Mobi stands for experimental and improvised Jazz. There is no way that any stage design can compete with them, that’s why we’ve decided to reduce the visuals to the maximum. Lines and geometric shapes are projected from behind on a semi-transparent frame. In result the lines and pattern are shining through the frame onto the band, crowd and location.
